I didn't invent this way of washing make up brushes, I'm not gonna lie. A few years back I saw a video by Michelle Phan of how she washes her make up brushes and since then, that's the method I like to use for my own brushes because it's very easy and you only need two 'ingredients' :) (Thank you Michelle, not that you're ever gonna read this but..yeah..:D)
So if you don't know what method I'm talking about then keep on reading and I hope you find this somehow helpful!
Yow will need:
- Dish soap.
- Extra Virgin Olive oil.
So, pour in a plate the two ingredients, there aren't really any measurement but I just like to make sure that I pour in more dish soap than olive oil because than it can get too greasy and it'll be hard to wash off the oil from the brushes.
Prepare your dirty make up brushes!
Start swirling around the brushes. If you end up using all the mixture then just add more dish soap and olive oil and continue.
Lay them on a towel as they're all soapy (if that's even a word)
Then go to a sink and rinse them with water, you might want to use both hands for this step to make sure that none of the mixture is left on your brushes.
Then just lay them on a towel to dry...AND YOU'RE FINISHED!
If you're reading this final sentence then THANK YOU for reading!! :):):)
